Abstract

The lower doses of aqueous leaf extracts of neem (Azadirachta indica A. Juss.) and the moderate higher doses of periwinkle (Catharanthus roseus Don.) exhibit enhancing effect on number of leaves/plant, number of lobes/leaf, number of stomata/unit area and number of chloroplasts/guard cell in turnip (Brassica rapaL.). Carrot Weed (Parthenium hysterophorus L.) has a deleterious effect on these traits at all the doses.
